This lock jammed and couldn't be unlocked. I was happy that it was brass because I wound up sawing it off.

5 out of 5 stars Works great - but causes thieves to resort to other means   January 19, 2010

This lock works great. In fact, it works extremely awesome.

I used it on my trailer to lock the rear doors. I had thieves break in. However, the thieves were not able to break this lock so they instead used a crowbar to pop the rivets for the entire door lock assembly in order to gain access to the trailer.

So, I actually kinda wish they had broken the lock since it would have meant less damage to my trailer.

However, that is not the fault of the lock and just goes to show that this is a very good lock. You won't be disappointed in it making thieves angry. ;-)

5 out of 5 stars Trailer lock - fits perfect   November 15, 2009

I could not find this lock at Home-Depot nor Lowe's. I had one for 5-6 years to go on my pop-up camper hitch. The old one finally rusted (I live in FL so things rust in the salt air). Perfect fit for most ball hitch latches. I use it while driving and storage.

5 out of 5 stars Some things just work!   July 5, 2007

This lock fits and works. It is secure and defies casual theft. It is weather resistant and stays shiny after years service. Not shiny enough to find it in the weeds, but shiny none the less. I am buying my second one because the only way this lock can fail you is if you lose it. I did.
