This step is great. I use it for access to the truck bed to unhook my 5th wheel. Great product that bolted right up.

I bought one Bully Side Step and with minor modifcation located it at the Right rear corner of the truck bed. It works great for getting in and out of truck bed with rear gate down.
Product good shipping and handling bad June 8, 2010

I received the products in a timely manner it was new and all the parts with their and fit perfectly. However I'm disappointed with shipping and handling at $19 for each one I ordered 2 items they both came in one box why was there 2 charges for shipping and handling.

If this step had fit, I would have given it 5 rating as it seems well made, but... I have a 2008 2500HD Sierra, and according to the information give, this step should fit - it definitely doesn't. I called the 800 number in the box, and after several calls back and forth, his only advice was to machine or grind down one of the the parts, and make a different spacer, and etc. Huh? Even if I did all that, the step wouldn't be secure, as the only cross member available for installation has less than 4" free, and the step needs more than twice that to be stable. Amazon gladly accepted the return and as far as I am concerned, they get a 5+ rating for customer service.

I installed this on a 2009 Dodge Ram Mega Cab truck. Overall this is a helpful product... but installation was a little tricky and instructions were very vague. The step needs to be a little larger or needs to stick out further. On the Dodge the beam that you have to mount it to puts the step towards the cab to far.... it needs to be further back towards the rear of the truck to access your box. I have to get up on the step with one foot and then swing my other leg to the top of the tire to balance myself and also to get access to the box or anything in the bed of the truck. The idea for the product is great, but again the step is so small you can't balance yourself without swinging your other leg out to something for balance.
