i had to secure it with sheet metal screws, but i am happy with the tailgate mat. amazon's price was much better than any i found. the mat is heavy duty and will last as long as i have the truck.

Well, what can you say? This is a nice hunk of rubber that fit my truck's tailgate just like it should. It's nice and thick and seems to be capable of doing the job it's meant for.

Tailgate Mat January 1, 2008

The mat was exactly as pictured and fit my '04 Ford 250 perfectly. It is made of heavy duty rubberized material. It was easy to install with the screws and washers included. I installed it in about 30 minutes. It requires drilling about 12 holes through the mat into the tailgate. I am 110% satisfied. I would certainly buy it again.
