The most useful tool on my truck. July 15, 2010 landscaper I run a landscaping business in nyc. I usually work alone, and do a lot of heavy lifting. I work out of a pickup truck, and have to lift the lawnmower in and out of the truck, sometimes 10 times a day. This was really taking a toll on my back. I really needed some help, and couldn't afford to pay someone 100 bucks a day. So, I looked online for some portable, lightweight ramps. I came across the lund ramp. I decided to give it a try. So, I sucked it up and paid the 150 bucks. It was delivered to me in couple of days. I started using it, and I swear its the most useful tool on my truck. It literally saved my back, and hundreds of dollars in labor. It's small, lightweight, and very easy to assemble. Id recommend this product to anyone who needs to lift heavy objects a few feet in the air.
Great product at a great price March 9, 2010 T.BONE (MN, USA) I use these ramps to load my quad into my Toyota Tundra and there is no issue. I also used them to move and load many things into the back of my truck. They are nice and light, sturdy enough for a quad, and the tread plate is effective for traction loading and unloading the quad and walking up and down them.
Lund Bi-Fold Loading Ramp is great June 20, 2009 Adam Christopher Truitt (Birmingham, AL USA) This ramp saves my back daily when I use it to put lawnmowers on my landscaping truck. It's compact design and high weight capacity make it perfect for any piece of equipment I need to load. Seriously a great buy, don't know what I'd do without it.
Sturdy loading ramp for pickup March 22, 2009 C. Finch (USA) This ramp is exactly what I needed. It allows me to load and unload heavier household equipment (generator, lawnmower etc..) when necessary. I don't move this type of equipment on a regular basis but nice to have when needed. It is a little bulkier than I anticipated but I am able to store it along a wall in my garage. It did not come assembled and the instructions were a little vague but I eventually got everything where it belonged.
OK but product support sucks! January 28, 2009 Trev (east bay, usa) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this to load my motorcycle on my own. The bifold gives me enough space to walk it up solo. Problem? All the parts to connect the two ramps together weren't included and despite numerous calls to customer support no one could even find the missing parts in their own catalog. I gave up after the 5th call. Also, the ad says 750 lb capacity. Well, my bike weighs 460 lb wet and I weigh 155 lb (total 615 lb) and the ramp bent a little bit in the middle as I walked it up, i.e. has a permanent bend in it. I would not trust it to 700 lb. Buyer be wary. I give it 2 stars since it suits my purposes as it is but heaven help you should you have missing parts or a liter bike!!!!!
